They're trying to get people to stop playing, so they'll buy bf4 when it comes out.
LOL this game has some of the most butthurt admins ever.
Was in the Extreme 64 player metro server,all weapons allowed and apparently nades are perfectly fine to spam to hell but i got like 10 smaw kills as i only have 150 kills over a 804 hour career and kept killing who i think was the admin as the final kill i got basically ended up being this same person and seconds later the kick.

Game is broken right now. Right in the middle of the double XP weekend. Had to happen. So close and yet so far from Level 100.
couldn't play until i removed the origins beta and went back to stable build. Odd.

Unless they give us the shitty new CoD style servers that we have no control over. Id much rather deal with a few dumbass admins, there are plenty of servers to choose from.
ADK non explosive has been the best in my experience but i did enjoy a nice kick on there the day before cause i kept killing this one guy near the escalators near c,he typed in chat i went pass c and well without investigation i got kicked by the active admin with no warnings while the nade and 320 spammers got their usual 3 warnings.:awe:
Admins this weekend have been total a-holes. Period.
And double xp has brought out all kinds of hacks. The best so far has been wall hacking on metro. EVERYONE admitted it was going on, even the team who was doing it. Yet no one got kicked.
btw, any server that starts with xtreme, stay away from. They have been the worst with allowing funny business and kicking people who are doing nothing wrong.

So, how was every one's double xp weekend? I jumped almost 2 level, which is good for me.
I was having fun with the 870 sniper shotgun. I beat up on a guy named VulgarDisplay on some barely populated Metro server, it's probably not the one that comes here...

I only got a couple games in. Was having internet problems all weekend, plus was at an event during the day. By the time I had some time to play (Monday) the double XP was gone. Been real tough finding servers I like as well. Seems they either have too many people or don't have a map rotation. But, I do prefer hardcore.

Me too - jumped nearly two levels as well. Finally picked up the L86A2 LMG - I can see why I get killed by it all the time. Also used the M417 for the first time and had good luck with it.
After a long hiatus, I returned to the IRNV scope and found that it is still a bit of cheat...was using it a lot for some pretty good K/D ratios.

I actually joined Gully for a round of CTF on one of the End Game maps, and frankly, I couldn't get into it at all. Isn't it something like the Titan mode actually?
Could have been me, but I only really play late late late at night. Like 12:00pm central and later.
I had horrible luck getting on terrible teams all this weekend. Me going 100-40 on a team where the next person on my team was always like 20-60. Rage inducing.

I hate Conquest because I always join mid game on a team that has no points or one point and is just getting farmed by the other team. If I could find a game just starting, I'd be more than happy, but I won't wait around 15 minutes getting shelled by a tank at my spawn point for a new game to start. =(

I'm pretty sure it was something like [IDA] VulgarDisplay. Not exactly sure on the clan tag, but it wasn't ATOT.
I certainly noted a real shortage of servers if you were in any way specific on your filtering.
And Termie, CTF is not very close to Titan mode.
One problem with these CTF maps is that there is no spawn protection, the opposition team is free to stroll in and steal your vehicles. It happened more than once that the other team had all of the vehicles. Not fun. Team was bad.

I play on Xtreme-Fighters a lot and am a clan member. Is this the name you are talking about? Xtreme is used in a lot of server names I think. There should be little to no funny business going on there. Admins are mature gamers.
I like Conquest the best but HC TDM is really good too. I play a lot of TDM during the day when I dont have time for longer matches. CTF is fun and I love that you can steal the other teams vehicles. I like planting a beacon and motion sensor in the enemy spawn and silently killing everyone (AS VAL and suppressed G18) while my squad steals all their stuff along with the flags.
This plan works best on the Operation Riverside map since it has more cover, it usually makes for a quick game if Im on a decent team.No, it wasn't that one. And yeah, after I posted that, I realized there are a lot of servers with xtreme in the name. Problem is, at this point, I cannot remember the specific ones where the problems were.
You can view previously visited servers I believe. That might help some. I think anything with Xtreme in the title would be obnoxious, but that is based purely on the people I've seen use Xtreme to describe things.

I want to start a fun, weekly game between Anandtech BF3 gamers. We can call it "The Hunted" kind of like in old school Team Fortress.
Each week, we pick an Anandtech player to be the hunted, and we add them to our friends list. Then, we track them down throughout the week in game and see who can get the most kills on the hunted person and report our number of kills here in this thread. Sounds like fun to me!

I was playing just now when right in the middle of the game my rifle suddenly had a funky purple tiger stripe camo and my motion sensor was red tiger. I thought maybe the server had switched on a pimp mod. LOL
Mine wasnt as bad as the video I linked above but it sure was trippy. I asked in game WTF was going on and if anyone else was seeing this, and a dude told me it was the latest nvidia drivers. Funny thing is Ive been using these drivers for a week or so now and it just showed up today right out of the blue.

The only graphics bug I've experienced at times is my weapons visually 'disappearing'. It's still equipped and works perfectly and I can swap to others (which are also invisible), but I just can't see it; I'm pretty sure I also do not get the visual feedback from recoil when it happens too.
Only happened a handful of times and I once figured out how to fix it. But then it didn't happen for a while and I have now forgotten again lol.
