I've been crunching for months now, haven't hit the forum yet...

Home: Cel 566@850 (98SE/2000), P166MMX(98SE), G4-450 Dual Proc. (OS 9.0.4), PM 7100/66@80 (OS 8.6)
Work: PIII-600 laptop(2000), four Cel 600 (98SE), two Duron 650 (98SE), Duron 700 (2000), TBird 750 (98SE), TBird 850 (98SE/2000)
Friends: one TBird 750 (98SE), one PII-350 (98SE)
Family: one K6/2-500 (98SE), one Cel300A@450 (2000)

I'm the PC Admin for our corp, I'm using the moo to "test reliability of processor tech"... heh... boss is cool with it.

Will be adding eight Cel 366 (2000) in coming week, two TBird 850 (2000) in two weeks. I may upgrade my TBird 850 at work
to a 1.1GHz hummer next week, cheap!!!

Should I be crunching only for RC5, or both RC5 and OGR? Right now, three machines are keyed to only
crunch RC5, as I saw Dutch Power Cows making a lunge for top spot in that area...

BTW, G4 Mac Duallie is currently crunching over 10,000,000 nodes/sec at 175% efficiency... yummy, can't wait for
a dual Athlon board so I can grab a couple of 1.1GHz TBirds!

Also, what happened to the beta clients on distributed.net's site? I'm running newer versions than what's on the current download page, and in my opinion, they crank much faster than the "current" versions... especially the Mac OS version on G4s, really takes advantage of that processor!

torque2k: Make certain that you're running the 463b client on your RC5 boxes.. the newer client like 466 has been withdrawn due to a bug and results are NOT being accepted from it currently, so back-rev your clients to make sure that the work you're doing is accepted! :Q

Hey, check out this page! Your G4 dualie should be cracking RC5 for sure...look at how much more efficient it is at RC5 than OGR. 🙂

Add one more Thunderbird 900 to the mix... although it doesn't help but I feel like gloating because I had so much trouble getting RAID to work...

3 x 9.1G IBM 36LZX set in a RAID 5 with 512 MB PC-100 SDRAM

TOTAL
T-Bird 900 @ 900
T-Bird 1000 @ 1000
Dual P3 750 both @ 750
🙂

Let's all welcome Sengar and his trio:
