Well it's getting rapidly better, object detail, draw distance and AA seem to affect fps most assuming you have Intel quad core at 3.5ghz plus
Visibility 1500
Objects 800
Shadows 100
Cloud Very High
Shadow High
Particles Very High
AA x8
FXAA Ultra
ATOC All trees and grass
VSync disabled
Post processing Disabled
HDR Standard
Anisotropic filtering ULTRA
PIP High
Dynamic Light Ultra

Single player
40-70 fps
Multiplayer 25-50

Everything maxed out... including view distance

Single player - lowest is 65 fps

Multiplayer - 100% depends on the server, I've had as low as 12 fps consistently on wasteland servers that are full. Low player servers with generic Arma3 missions, 50+ fps

PC:
AMD FX-8120 (stock)
Gigbyte 970-A Mobo
16 Gb Kingston HyperX 16GB DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Ram
Gigabyte 7950 3 GB GPU
running from a 7200 rpm HDD

I'm not bothered about pics but your numbers fly in the face of everything I've read or experienced. I'm trying to get an overview of how well different CPU/GPU core numbers/overclocks work from AMD/Intel/Nvidia/AMD and tbh there are so many variables its hard to read not interested in epeen trash talking. Seems higher overclocks help a lot and it does use all cores and threads to varying extent. I signed up for Beta which means updates-stable or otherwise arrive sooner.

The guys I usually play with (some better rigs, some worse) all seem to have lower FPS counts than I do playing in the same servers with the same settings... not sure what my magic trick is/was but I consistently am running 10+ fps about them all. Unless of course my fraps has gone haywire.

Could you try to ID what allows you such superlative performance-posting your settings would help-all maxed doesn't help very much.
