yes that would be awsome OSX is nativily a 64 bit os, it would be awsome if optimized for the A64s
 
i don't know why mac didn't do this sooner, the only thing out of this that i can see is them getting a bigger share of consumers

That looks very unlikely... no one has been able to run it yet. The drivers in OSX will only be geared towards Intel chipsets, so we are SOL there....

dude its just a unix operating system, people have done wounders on linux and I imagin most of that work, and the work done with darwin will corrispond to OSX the only real issue is the chipset drivers and nvidia drivers, from my understanding pretty much everything else works great
