OK, I'll start it off.

Official Anti-Bush Thread.

Please post all Bush Bashing in here.

I think "Hate" is not an appropriate word although will have to see how we do after the next 4 years.

Thank you

I that anti-bush threads should be categorized by subject/topic. One for war, one for national security, one for economy, etc.

I sincerely doubt you'll be able to control yourself in this way.

I am just going to keep bashing Bush in a variety of threads on a variety of subjects. Because you know the cons are gonna start millions of threads praising Bush for his "achievements."

anti-administration policy =/ anti-Bush

I disagree with most of his administration's policies, but I have no dislike for him as a person. at the very least, I'll always respect the office.

I agree, there seems to be this idea that if you disagree with Bush you have to hate him or something. And beyond that, you have to be a liberal, France loving, communist, tree-hugging anti-American.

As to this thread, I don't think so, Dave. Since, as I said, "Bush Bashing" seems to be any posts that disagree with what he says and does and thinks, wouldn't that cover any thread about policy?

I say us "cons" use this thread to praise Bush. Bush has done a fine job as President, and he will suprise you all with his second term...it'll be a good one.

I don't think it would be very active, seriously. Even most conservatives I know simply voted for dubya by default, not merit. I don't think he's really all that popular, and he's doing nothing to secure his legacy in a POSTIVE way that I can see.

Notice how they can't "praise" him with anything concrete.

They can't even tout the "Tax cuts" because there is nothing proving they have helped anyone other than the rich. Oh wait, that was the idea.

No thanks, this is P&N -- Politics and News -- I post news I read that I feel is important for others to read as well. If it's all in one thread the people here who need to see it most will just ignore the thread.

And posting the news we aren't seeing in the conservative media isn't Bush-bashing. It's posting the facts as they are happening.

If the facts bash Bush then that's Bush's problem.

A lot of folks are ignoring the multiple Anti-abortion threads. If this were a Newspaper would you want everyone to ignore your particular subject because it is smattered around like a cheesy Advertisement???

Interesting point.

There is no way to see if there has been an extreme amount of the FLL side whining to the Mods or conversely if there has been non-FLL's whining to the Mods either.

I haven't seen anything for anyone to whine to the Mods about, once in a while someone gets a bit carried away attempting to personally attack an OP, even following them around thread to thread which is not a good thing.

I didn't see what caused the Ultra guy and Burke folks to get their Mod punishments handed down.

1-19-2005 Global Poll: World Not Safer Under Bush

Analysts said the poll had far-reaching implications, suggesting a serious rise in anti-U.S. feeling in general, with 42 percent saying it had made them feel worse about Americans compared to 25 percent who made it think more of them.

"Our research makes very clear that the re-election of President Bush has further isolated America from the world."

The survey found that 47 percent of those questioned now see U.S. influence in the world as largely negative
