“Multiple messenger accounts on separate computers – virtual system issues”

Post content:

Hi,
I want to run separate accounts for a messaging app on several computers, each with a different phone number, and keep them independent. I have one modern phone, a few old phones from 2006, several SIM cards, and multiple computers.

I tried running a mobile OS in VMware (LineageOS/CyanogenMod), but I get a message saying that custom systems may cause problems and login doesn’t work. All permissions are enabled, and the app is downloaded from the official site.

I want to avoid mixing numbers and prefer assigning each number to a separate computer.
I’m also considering:

A lightweight mobile emulator running in Windows (one per account)

Dual-boot setup with Windows + mobile OS on a separate drive

Does anyone have experience running independent accounts this way? What’s the best approach for registering accounts on virtual systems or emulators without running into issues?
