Draft is tomorrow at noon, anyone else really excited? I requested this weekend off work 4 months ago just to watch the draft. :D

Palmer is locked up by the Bengals, so his career just ended.

Who are you looking for your team to take?

Personally I'm looking for Pittsburgh to either take Troy Polamalu, safety out of USC, if he's not there, possibly Willis McGahee, and if he's not around, I could definitely see them trading down and taking one of the 2nd tier CBs like Mathis, Woolfolk, someone like that. We need help in the secondary bad. One rumor I'm also hearing is that they'll try and make a move for either Chris Simms or Dave Ragone in the 2nd round.

Thoughts?

Ragone in Pittsburgh might be a good move. Put him behind a good front line and just might show his talent.

I think Pittsburgh needs to look at a free safety in the first round. A guy who can cover better than Flowers, but can still ring bells. Maybe Julian Battle? I think Ragonne may be available for them in round 2.

There's still a chance the Panthers might get Byron Leftwich!!!

*fingers crossed*...

The Lions will be taking Rogers, which I think is a great idea.

It is hard to believe that two wideouts may go 2-3 in the draft.

If it's me, I'd never draft a wideout earlier than late first round. They just don't make an impact for 2-3 years, and by that time they are free agents. Being a Falcons season ticket holder, I'm glad they got Price. So instead of drafting a guy who will likely do nothing for 2 years, they get a proven player. The draft is going to be kind of a drag though since they don't have a 1 or a 3.

I'm not a Panthers fan (Broncos actually), but I'm a Byron Leftwich fan. I just hope whoever drafts him, plays him, because he will be a special qb in this league.

I hear ya. There are not that many WR's that come out and make an immediate impact. I do think Rogers can be that kind of guy, especially on the Lions.

As for the Falcons, I am excited for them this year. I thought about buying season last year and am kind of wishing I would have. At any rate, the buzz around this city when it comes to the Falcons is huge. People are going to be expecting big things from them.

I hope Terrance Newman falls to the Cowboys at 5. We could use a shutdown corner. Detroit could mess it up by taking him at 2 because of Carlos Rodgers agents being difficult. If that happens I will cry because I think Newman is the biggest impact player in this draft.

WOW I just heard that the Jets have traded their two first-round picks to the Bears for the 4th pick!!! :Q

Not really a shocker, but its still strange they would give up so much just to get a star WR...its almost like they're trying to replace Laverneus (sp?) Coles...shouldn't have let him go to the 'Skins...

Big rumour going around now is that Detroit is going to trade down.... New England has offered both their #1 picks, plus their 2nd round pick... Detroit is asking for that package plus a 3rd this year. That'd be a huge deal either way if it goes down... I think Detroit should take it. They need help in more spots than just WR. They could pick up a kelley Washington in the mid to late first, plus another impact guy with their other #1.

What? No faith in Farve anymore? :)

If Kyle Boiler is still there I say take em. If not, the Packers need a DT first.

I want Favre to win another championship before retiring, and this is the year! Ferguson and Walker need to step up finally, and the defense needs to be adressed w/ this draft.

Jets fans are going to pissed. They'll want Andre Johnson and not Dwayne the DE/DT guy.

Being a Giants fan I hope they pick up a good DE/DT. They need help.

I don't think anyone could have drafted worse than the Cardinals.

Wasting 2 1st round picks on guys that could have been had in the 2nd.

Disgusting.

i'm almost ashamed to be a vikings fan. for the second year in a row, they let the clock run out on their first pick. i mean, how hard is it to tell the officials who you want? you've been looking at these guys for months, dont you know by now? i know mike tice said he was trying to "consumate" a trade for picks with baltimore, but cripes man, watch the clock.
