It's most likely because he doesn't actually OWN the game. Hamachi is just one way all the people who don't own the games play with each other. Because it emulates a LAN.

Actually that's not the case. The OP was playing with us on Keys UT3 server, so obviously he has a legit key, but the problem there was the lack of an admin due to UT3 being a PITA to set up over regular internet.

The reason Hamachi would be better is due to it being much easier to set up a server on and actually allows an admin to login, without which changing gametypes is impossible.

Obviously if we can figure out how to use admin commands on a regular server there would be no need for this.

So the internet play has some issues with RCON / remote admin functions on a dedicated server? Hmmm bummer, thanks though.

and i do own the game, in fact, i was stupid enough to pay $50 may i suggest that if there is another UT3 game, that Evilcomputer92 host.
