they should've made it 1100:1 contrast ratio, at least 4ms ~ 8ms and 550cd/m2 bright and 2200x1300ish it would've been a much better gaming moniter.
OK guys keep in mind there is only ONE panel out there like this. It's not like they had a lot of room to be picky in large, high resolution LCD panels. They did manage to significantly improve on the Cinema Display's specs though, which is nice considering they share the panel.

I don't care about resolution that much once it getz up to 2k by 1k it really doesn't matter that much. What I do care is I don't want black to look like purple and bad ghosting cause of the high response time (11ms) it really affects action games alot.
Don't lie for LCD I know ghosting when I see it. Drag ur browser at a fast rate from top left to bottom right and tell me u can read the words good. :roll:
