Back to the topic at hand... WEED! APHA and ACB appear ready to continue their run. Up roughly 25% and 17% respectively pre-market.

Last year was the year of EV. This year is WEED! lol. My APHA and CGC are doing well. But I just wish I had purchased meaningful amount instead of the token positions I have. Still better than nothing. I'll take it.

Your "token positions" is definitely a relative statement. I grabbed 300 shares each of the two I mentioned as that wiped out the cash I had in that account. Based on your prior posts, I don't even think those positions would register as even the tiniest blip on your radar.

Even tiny positions can turn into meaningful money when mania takes hold as we saw with EV names last year and GME this year. I'm enjoying this but I know to be cautious when pretty much anything I buy is going up. If it's happening to me, it's happening to everyone. This is not normal.

Owning weed stocks is the legit way to feel like a drug dealer. Hahaha.

(I got 166 in Aurora Cannabis and 50 in Aphria)

TRXC (Transenterix Inc) making a crazy run. It's gone from $3.73 to $5.38 since Monday. I sold some shares around $5.20 to offload risk.

CARA (Cara Therapeutics Inc ) also continuing a good run. It's gone from $19.20 to $21.50 and climbing. I'm fairly optimistic about this one because the internet tells me so.

I made one sale so far and its probably all I'll do today. I'm really up against it. There's no way I can buy more SRNE.

So I sold 10 March 19 7.5 VXRT puts. I'm not saying anyone else should do it but they're pretty high; I got $1300. That's good for a $7500 outlay of little over a month imo.

Yet all the BC stocks are correcting.

Go figure.
People were getting little too excited this morning. Everything felt little frothy. Just little pullback to tell the speculators who jumped in this morning to settle down. This is healthy and needed if the market is to melt up higher. Scare out the dumb money who jumped in blindly this morning chasing higher prices and allows people who waited to buy in at better prices from the panicked dumb money.

Tesla has been weak and on the downtrend since pop from the bitcoin news. There are some large investors who don't like Tesla's move into bitcoin. I saw Ron Baron mention he wanted to get more info on why Tesla moved into bitcoin. If Ron Baron is questioning, there are many like him, and I'm sure some are selling the stock on the news. In the big picture, it's not a big deal.

one post up. tesla having 1.5B in a very volatile market makes investors question the hold, and they have already made out handsomely, so why not sell a little and reduce risk when the company is increasing theirs.

Trading a risky longshot priced just above cash, so you get the business almost free.

When I first saw it, it was up big but has since pulled back 40% on two dilutive offerings within a week!

Isn't $1.5B kind of insignificant for a company worth $800B? Plus at $45K the price is already fairly higher than Tesla's buy in.

Hardly a risky move imo, it's not like Elon diluted shares to do this.

What?! You dare use logic when it comes to trading?

You are supposed to trade on emotion, sell when a stock falls below its 50 second moving average and book those losses baby!

Its the sure way to Easy Street! ;)

Enjoying the move in Twitter today. TWTR finally broke its all time high it set back in Dec 2013. That was more than 7 years ago right after the IPO. Since then Twitter stock have gone down and treaded water ever since. Meanwhile, Twitter's influence has grown tremendously and now its essential social media platform and the best source for quick news. So when TWTR dropped to around $45 after the Capital riots in Jan, I thought the price was ridiculous and stock was undervalued so I bought some and also sold some puts hoping to buy more cheaper. Twitter at $36 billion market cap was ridiculous when all these stupid tech companies are IPOing today at like $20-$100 billion market cap. It's a joke. If Twitter IPO today, it would easily have over $100 billion market cap. Look at the market cap of that loser Snapchat. SNAP has market cap of $94 billion.

After today's move up, TWTR market cap is around $53.62 billion. Still undervalued IMO. TWTR should be worth $100 billion+. So TWTR can easily double or more from current level.

Alright, here are my last speculative picks now that crypto, weed, and just about everything else have mooned: MMEDF and LKYSF. I sort compare this sector to "2016 weed stocks", and although weed was much more accepted on the legalization front, I think psilocybin will fall pretty quickly in the medicinal domain not long after marijuana is federally decriminalized.

That's my speculative DD. :)

If anyone else has any speculative picks at this point that aren't mainstream yet, I'd love to know!

So pissed. Held Twitter from $17 but sold two weeks ago thinking it wasn’t going to move anymore. Of course it did. At least I locked in some profit, but I had planned to hold long term.

Sold a $55 CSP today for decent premium and will keep rolling it until I get assigned.

I too believe in Twitter long term and should have just kept holding.

Why not have both? **
