Anyone think it would be worth it to drop Fjax for Matt Jones in Was? I understand he's visiting SEA and wouldn't mind being reunited with Lynch. Just iffy on Jackson's production as a backup to beast mode. Jones seems like he's capable of taking goal line touches away as Helu last year.

I have a solid group of RB with

RB1 Peterson
RB2 Forsett
Flex Gore

BN Crowell
BN Fjax

Thoughts?
Since your RB core is already rock solid before even Crowell, why not? Fjax is just a flyer at this point and he's not even signed. You are banking on the fact that PFT said Seattle will sign him which still hasn't happened yet. Matt Jones is probably a better longshot bench stash at this point, although I don't think Alf will be injured this year so Jones could play a MikeTolbert-esque role due to his frame which is 10lbs heavier than Alf:
Imposing size with muscular frame. Above-average swivel in hips and perimeter quickness for runner his size. Pistons for feet, chomping and churning through contact to extend run. Has slippery lower body with angle-tackle attempts sliding off. Keeps shoulders square to line for maximum power. Plays with forward lean and is difficult to stop for a loss.
But if you're looking for a goal line scorer, Tolbert would actually be a better option in the weakest conference. Alf could make me eat my words, but the guy never gets hurt so Jones is really just a short yardage back. A better flier to be a starter is Artis-Payne who backs up Jonathan Stewart. JStew is bound to miss a few games every year. Another good stash is Khiry Robinson behind injury prone ingram and spiller. You'll just have to wait longer on those guys, I picked up Artis-Payne and will stash him for the first half to see if JStew's health holds up.

Heh Donald Brown, love that guy and I live vicariously through him. I should be close by the end of the year to his elite college squat (585) at a similar weight and I used to run a similar 4.5 40 time in high school. Since we have such similar numbers I always follow him closely. If only I had grown another 3-5 inches.

Yeah, but I'm not sure you want to be someone whose most famous contribution to the NFL is "God Dammit Donald" on Youtube.

Reports are saying that Sproles will only get 5% of the touches, so Sproles. Sankey's starting job is safe for now, so he should at least get volume. Crabtree, I'd like to have at least 2 WR backups in a league that starts 3 WRs.

Very good top 3 RBs for PPR. Sproles is your worst overall, so I agree on dropping him. Your third WR spot I think is going to be a problem. Best case scenario for you is that John Brown breaks out, which is a possibility but not a probability. Crabtree's a decent boom or bust flyer. IMO he's an cancer and changing teams doesn't cure cancer, but who knows. Oakland is poised for a breakout season and Crabtree might be a part of it.

TE and QB are your 2 worst spots. QB might be manageable because I think you can drop Flacco without much worry (good chance nobody will scoop him) and play matchups week to week at that spot. TE will be problematic, since you can't drop Eifert (he'll get scooped quick) but at the same time, he's going to give you fairly mediocre production in comparison with other TE's, IMO.

people who drafted Brady just got their icing on the cake

Man, he went pretty damn early on both my drafts. I think people pretty much assumed that he was not going to be suspended at all. I really wanted to pick him up 5th 6th rnd or so. Didn't even make it that far.

Hehehe, I got Sankey for my Bench ;-) Tempted to put him in somewhere.

Eifert was the exact TE I wanted. People overhyped TE in my league.

Qb.... I counted the QB that went and didn't plan for people grabbing 2 Qb that early in a ppr. 15QB went before 10 rounds. They overhyped that as well.

I'll be streaming Def and maybe qb. 3 transaction per week.

I'm not really happy with my bench but hopefully they stay on the bench. I wanted Charles Johnson (I think that's his name, WR for minny) as well as John brown. But it was taken.

Oh forgot... I also have Victor cruz... but he might be a big bust for me.

noobs take QB early because they know they are worth solid points.
Brady went #1 for my league last year.
I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again considering some of the players are noobs this year too.

Only way QB should go high off the boards is if 6pt per TD or maybe in a 2QB league. Otherwise aside I'm not even looking til like 6th. Graham went 2nd round in my draft, started a little frenzy. Love it.

Jamaal Charles got a reduced role or rested during the last few weeks of the year for the last two years. Personally, I will not draft him again.

I had him in a keeper league.

Anyone think Jay Ajayi is worth stashing in an IR slot? In two of my leagues I have a single IR spot and picked him up. I don't know if he's going to be ready for the second half of the year or if he's going to take any work from Lamar Miller right away, but is he worth speculating on versus over anyone on IR-designated-to-return?

My starters in a ten team league:

Matt Ryan
Leveon Bell
Jonathan Stewart
Dez Bryant
AJ Green
Delanie Walker
Mason Crosby
Texans D

Since Bell is suspended, I will be startin Chris Ivory for the first couple of weeks.

I also drafted Eli who I think is going to be solid this year. Will probably trade him to upgrade my RB2 position.

No way of knowing if the guy will ever play a down in the NFL. Evidently he has no cartilage in his knees and that's why he fell so far in the draft. This reminds me of the 49ers Marcus Lattimore to be honest.

Evidently the Falcons are sniffing around on Montee Ball, so evidently like Dallas it seems they may not be entirely happy with the incumbents and if you paid a premium price for Tevin Coleman that might have been a mistake.

After some reading, the knee situation seems to be either overblown or unfounded. He did have an injury in 2011, but his performance since then doesn't seem impacted. Supposedly at the combine re-examination of the knee caused some concern, but I don't know any of the details or how serious it was. It was his hamstring that kept him out of the first preseason games, and broken ribs (after 9 runs for 66 yards and 2 catches for 37 yards) in game that put him on IR.

It does seem that his running style possibly makes him more prone to injuries overall, though, and they may not want to give him a heavy workload when he returns. I think I'll keep him because he's only costing me an IR spot, and in case he proves valuable late in the season when injuries tend to take out a lot of the drafted running backs.
