Butler is playing his ass off. He's going to get some serious money thrown at him that Chicago is going to have to decide if they'll match.

Rose still maintains he isn't playing at 100%, so Butler's effectiveness might wane as the season goes on and Rose ramps up.

I wouldn't mind him staying in Chicago, even if his production is lower, as he is proving to be a great player.

Lebron b1tch slaps Noah! sorta... :D

https://vine.co/v/OPen32K9pZD

Seems deliberate to me, if you look carefully, ball was much lower than where he was looking at, it seems he had no interest in the ball, his eyes were at Noah's face. Even the followup reaction kinda says the same... Didn't watch the game but maybe Noah was defending him, getting on this nerves, a rough game?

Man I'm only a casual NBA fan and this trade deadline is fucking bonkers. The deadline was 15m ago and new information on trades all over place is still rolling in.

I'm less than a casual NBA fan (I'll watch my local T-Wolves then they are at least entertaining) and I really don't get the Garnett trade at all. I haven't paid attention to him much at all, but isn't he already pretty much washed up? He's 38...and the Wolves want to sign him to a 2 year deal. Really?

And they give up Thad Young for him. I assume they weren't going to resign Young anyway, since they traded him, but I have to believe he was worth *something* more than a washed up 38yo player. More knowledgeable NBA fans...chime in?

Which is ridiculous. The Wolves don't have the history for a "nostalgia" signing...bottom feeders for over a decade. They want to sell tickets? Get a team that can win 20 games...

As it stands today, Spurs will take on Rockets, that will the 1st round elimination for the Spurs... :D They never play well against Rockets, does not look good for the Spurs

Yep, NBA playoffs are fun. They are probably a series too long, and the first round being 7 games is a bit much...but the games are a blast to watch.

7 game series in the first round in the West will still be highly competitive affairs. 7 game series in the East? Yeah, that's going to be pretty awful for the first round or two. But Warriors-Thunder, Grizz-Mavs, Rockets-Spurs and Clippers-Blazers? Those are four series I'm content to watch 7 games of.

In an NBA first, the Sixers were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs three days before the season began. :(

I still remissness about Roses first year in 2008 where the Bulls took the Celtics to 7 games with like 5 games going to OT in the first round. That was an incredible series.

Bulls season this year is like tuning into a nascar race waiting for a wreck. Who's going to get hurt tonight? The only bright side has been the chance for other players to get minutes.

Great battle to begin soon, Wastebrook vs Harden. It's going to be physical, VERY physical
