The Royals, man. What a great story.

Currently on an 11-0 postseason game streak, dating back to 1985. 😉

Does anyone really care about the Royals? Some random team of mostly people no one cares about from some random town in the middle of bumbletucky.

I love how the Orioles had to run into the only other team with a "better" feel-good-story than the O's. They ran into a white-hot team and got outplayed slightly. Talk about the most non-lopsided sweep ever. Orioles were in every single game to the last at-bat. Ugh.

That was the most frustrating series I've ever watched in my life. EVERYTHING went right for the Royals. Everyone played above their heads, tons of bloop hits, ridiculous defense, timely hitting. I wish they weren't such an abrasive team, or I'd really be rooting for them. The constant showboating and mouthing off paired with the boatloads of bandwagon fans is off-putting.

Going by the polls, most of the population favors the royals over the giants, but, by all means, keep trying to be cool. It's fun to watch.

They are pretty much the perfect TV story right. They hadn't been to the playoffs since 1985 (although they did win the world series that year). Everyone except for the bay area will pretty much be cheering for the Royals.

As much as I hate it, I'm going to say Giants in six games although I want the Royals to win.

Well, (and I know I'm late), the Royals were good defensively and they have a really good bullpen, but other than that, I agree with you.

The Tigers beat them 14 out of 19 in the regular season, and what I saw during those games were an averge team...at best, and not the magic carpet variety we've seen this post season.

I guess when you've seen a team 19 times, you pretty much have a good gauge on them. The Royals are an average team. They hit a little lucky streak and are playing at their average level now.

Giants should win in 5, but I will give KC two games at most.

Their bullpen didn't look good last night.

They are going to need this off day with how they churned through their bullpen last night. Of course, none of them lasted very long. Five pitchers (four relievers) in one inning and who knows if Linceecum's back is good enough after he tweaked his back in his first outing of the playoffs.
