They'd be foolish to wear out James trying to guard Robinson. It's simple physics. James is 6'8" 250lbs vs Nate's 5'9" 180lbs. Having your number one guy running around chasing Robinson is idiotic. They tried that in the 11 finals vs the mavs with Jason Terry. I really think it affected Lebron especially late game.

I'm assuming you mean "rooting for" and not "expecting." Because neither the Bulls nor the Knicks is beating Miami.

Even if any teams possess any threat, NBA will make sure that threat is neutralized. So you are correct, nobody is beating Heats.very soon we will see naked and shameless referee bias to make sure big teams are not threatened!

Durant is posting a 36-11-9 en route to a home loss. If he keep this up he will put himself in good company with Cavs era Lebron in doing everything he could in dragging a corpse of a team on his back. Hopefully he keeps this mindset when Westbrook comes back and keeps him in check.

That Harden trade has really come back to haunt them.

Lebron will be fine guarding Robinson, although I would be surprised if he guarded him the whole game.

Am I living in some world where people are calling Nate Robinson unguardable? I love Nate Robinson, it's so much fun when he's hot. He's like JR Smith, except smaller and more acrobatic. But we're not talking about Wilt Chamberlain here.

Out of all the players, they'd be best off taking Noah out of the game, if possible. The bulls are somewhat of a headless-monster without rose, but if there is an engine, it's Noah, and perhaps Jimmy Butler lately.

Noah is definitely the engine and heart of this bulls team. Would be a shame if Miami resorted to tactics like trying to remove Noah from the game

Those same people have said that LeBron James would have washed out of the league had he played in the 90s and the only reason the Bulls won't win a series with Miami is that David Stern has personally ordered all NBA personnel to guarantee a Heat victory. People with such a tenuous grasp on reality can see a single GIF of Nate Robinson and conclude that he is some kind of basketball sorcerer who can't possibly be defended by someone as bad on defense as LeBron James. Everyone else sees an irrational confidence guy who you love to cheer for when he gets going, but who will shoot you right out of a game when he's chucking up shots from the middle of nowhere with time on the clock because he thinks that he's playing a real life version of NBA Jam.

Heat is favored by 12. That's just crazy, especially since game 1 Heat was favored by 12.5 points. Is it legal to bet this online and if so, any sites one would suggest? (assuming no one here wants some 🙂)

Looking a bit less crazy now. Looks like the Heat decided to stop fucking around.

nah, they can't score without Nate penetrating and defense collapsing on him. in any case i can't watch the game now, but seems like Nate is sure taking over

Wonder where HendrixFan is to complain about the refs now? Chalmers should have been called for a flagrant foul there.

The Heat are up in FTs taken slightly, 22-18. If that was the case in game one they win, regardless of FG%.

Lmao, this game is a joke ref wise. No flagrant on Chalmers for grabbing Noah around the neck, calling a travel on Gibson when it was clear two Heat players jump on him and a missed goal tend.

Yeah, if the refs went down on James and Wade like they usually do, miami wins game 1.

Butler and Robinson will combine for zero HoF votes, and for good reason. Shooting twice as many FTs as Lebron and Wade is and will always be an abomination. Did you ever look at that shot chart?

This game has been horribly refereed. Any minute now they're going to start calling technical fouls on random Chicago personalities who aren't even at the game. I don't think it's had any effect; the Heat are looking miles better than the Bulls tonight. But refereeing this poor just offers up an excuse for people unwilling to see that the Heat are playing some brilliant basketball. "The refs gave them this one!" No, the refs just made the margin of victory 40 points instead of 30.

The fact you think players should be favored says a lot. You are what is wrong with this sport.
