for the skins that would have been like throwing darts at the draft list.

Nate Solder? How is Brady going to see over this guy?
I wasn't impressed by the highlight film of him.

However, the Pats pretty much know what they are doing. Sebastian Vollmer was a reach and a guy they said had a lot to learn. And Vollmer became a monster in half a season.

Meh as a Titans fan all I can say is that those guys get paid to scout out these players so if they think Locker was the one that fits our team rather than Gabbert then so be it.

I am a UW guy, have seen Locker play at Husky Stadium a couple times. He is a really special guy, don't get caught up with just the stats. Did you hear Gruden raving about him? The guys with actual NFL experience are high on Locker. Remember too that last year he would have been #1 probably. Wish my Seahawks could have drafted him.

Bottom line: the more you get to know him and see him play, the more I think you guys will be happy with the pick.

He starts out with a huge advantage. He's not Vince Young.

with several of the "reaches" so far, in large part no doubt due to lack of post season player movement, there seems to be a decent crop of players that have slipped down to the bottom of the first.

as crappy as the o line may be, I was also surprised they didn't go for D.

They need big help in the secondary. Word on the street is that the Colts plan to make some big moves in FA, but I'll believe it when I see it.
