i'm hosed this week. romo on bye, mendenhall probably out with hammy, andre johnson out with hammy.

gonna be fielding the awesome andy dalton vs rodgers, subbing titus young in for AJ, and trying to grab steven ridley or throwing helu/stewart/tate in for mendenhall..

i'm pretty sure i'm going to lose badly.

I wouldn't make that trade. Sacrificing an RB2 for a slight upgrade at TE. Maybe not even that much of an upgrade. Ridley throws a wrench into BGE's worth, but I still wouldn't do that.

If there are decent RBs on the wire I might consider it. But then again, the other guy would just grab one if that were the case.
 
Just traded for Chris Johnson in my Dynasty League. Gave away Bowe, Tolbert and 2 2nd round rookie picks for next year. I also have JC on IR, so when he comes back next year...I'll be looking solid.

Jennings, Bowe, V. Cruz, A. Brown, J. Maclin, S. Ridley

who should I play...hmmmm. I'm thinking Jennings, Bowe, and Cruz

Tate, Torian, Ridley?

Or should I got grab a possible handcuff like Kendall Hunter or Michael Bush?

I'm really lacking in FFL knowledge this year. Just haven't had time to keep up with it. 🙁

Ridley. Billichick is really trying to find an effective running game to manage the clock better.

what does everyone think of the Jets D going up against Pats this weekend? My FFL has them projected at -3 pts. Bengals D is open and they are projected at 10 pts. The thing is that Jets D have been good to me and I'm reluctant to drop them. Im thinking about dropping Dallas Clark, Ind TE and picking up the Bengals D for this week. Clark has been sitting on my bench but he's only got 3,9,1,4 pts in the 4 weeks so far.
 
Well you can't start the Jets D, that's for sure. Clark isn't worth much anymore so I wouldn't feel bad about dropping him. Though that's my problem with "elite" Defenses. They aren't always must starts, and I hate to carry two defenses.
 
yea I hate carrying two defenses also. but like you said, Clark is so worthless now (watch him have a monster game next week!) that I wouldnt feel bad dropping him. I'm thinking dropping him for the Bengals D (or another D, see below) since I'm going to need a backup D for week 8 when Jets is on BYE.

Other top ranked D's that are also FA in my league - Buccaneers, Bills, Eagles (WA - Fri), Saints

At this point the only D/ST I would actually keep on a bye week is BAL. It's just not worth dropping backup players to keep a D/ST on your bench (unless you have like a 10 player bench). I switch D/ST and K almost every week.

Bengals D/ST is a good play this week.

I need some trade advise. I have Drew Brees, so I'm looking to move Cam Newton on my bench. I also have Adrian Foster.

I would be giving up Newton, Stevan Ridley, and DeAngelo Williams for Maurice Jones-Drew, Antonio Gates, and Lee Evans.

I'm not sure what to expect from Ridley and Williams for the rest of the year. But I need to move Newton before his value drops.. if it drops.

I want MJD because at least it's not a running back by committee like the three RBs I have. I also have Brandon Jacobs. I'm hoping MJD is off to a slow start and will bounce back.

Antonio Gates is week to week. I drafted Dallas Clark. So I could use the help in TE when Gates is healthy again.

So do I pulled the trigger and accept the trade? I'm 2-2 now btw.

The other trade I'm working on is Andre Johnson (out 3 weeks maybe more) for Newton, Ridley, and/or Sidney Rice. If I was 3-1 I might gamble and pull off this trade. But I'm not sure when Johnson will be back to form.
