sold off my feb $25 calls, left my feb $18 puts alone. keeping my 13,000 shares.

That, or trying to delay within a timeframe that Judge Kramer can't preside over. I don't think it's a settlement ploy though. The cartel lawyers looked happy today while Perry at a look for dissapointment that this was actually happening.

Looks like the stock is stabilzing around $21.30 - it's important tech wise to stay above the $20 level. It acted as a major resistance in the past, but now that we broke through that last month, it's a major support level now.

All this probably won't matter as the events happening Thursday and Friday next week will supersede technical analysis and it's going to blow one way or another.

Im thinking of buying both puts and calls for feb, the volatility should put at least one in the money significantly.

So if Kramer denies the delay and RMBS wins the case, would the denial by Kramer to delay play much of a role in any appeal filed by the cartel in the event that they lose?

Great question - and that's what he has to be careful of. In the trial of Rambus vs Hynix, I was surprised how Judge Whyte ruled in favor of the cartel on issues that seems Rambus would have been favored, but I later thought that he knew Rambus has more than enough ammunition and was trying to make his case appeal-proof as possible.

In this situation though, it's a tough call. Even if they appeal, I'm not sure they have enough money to post the appeal bond if the damages awarded are big enough.

Per IV, it seems like the illness of Price was known to Micron exec for a while, and they just brought it up as last minute excuse. Things get more and more interesting, of course, as expected.

I bought Feb $25 calls for RMBS yesterday. I think I will sell them today. This whole "lawyer is sick, lets delay the trial" stuff is crazy.

I'm just going to keep writing options. I own 500 shares of RMBS, so I'm writing 5 contracts per month and raking in around $1000/mo. If this stuff just keeps getting delayed, I'll just make a $1000/mo. No complaints here. I always get screwed when I buy options, so I hardly do it anymore.
