Was going to start this thread but had to wait for the official Azurik version.

2009 was my break-out year in trading. I made a little but learned a lot.

My 2010 "resolutions" are -

1. To be less diversified (Invest more in fewer stocks)
2. Hold true to my original intent and be less reactive to swings

My Pick of 2010 - CLWR

I will accept no less than a 30% return on my portfolio this year. During most of the stock rebound last year I noticed I still had my portfolio all in Govt. Bonds - never allocated it to stocks after I started my job :( Totally missed out on most of the 2009 rebound.

2009 was my first year in the market.
Had some good runs, learned a few lessons (aka, losses, and lost potential profit), and am seriously not looking forward to tax season.

As a general question - when you sell a stock with profit, and re-invest into another stock, are you taxed on the original income? I imagine so, but like I said, I have never filed for investments.

Anyone have any good up-and-coming picks?

RMBS is tanking because a form 4 was released showing an insider sold 4k shares.

good call

I was considering it but waited a couple seconds and bought 20.52 and 18.45...but after it hit $16 I sold 19.41 on the rebound to get out for a $55 loss (total 600 shares)...so goes daytrading, I thought dire news must have hit, lol. (now back to 22.2)

I got an order waiting to be filled if RMBS hits $22 again.

EDIT: Changed limit to $22.20 and it got filled. WOOT!
