I like this team better. Pretty good at all the big positions but I must admit I had to look up who that TE was. That was the only TE you could get?

I think Ronnie Brown can be a beast this year if he stays healthy.

No, Jermaine Gresham, who I also took was still on the board. There were several others at the time though... Heath Miller, Todd Heap and a few others. Gronkowski has see a lot of work already in preseason, Brady likes him a lot. He's going to be a decent TE choice on a team that utilizes TE's in the red zone a lot.

Ronnie Brown was more of a BPA pick for me. I think Ricky Williams will be a better pure RB for the 'fins, and I have yet to see how Ronnie Brown is going to handle this season. I have plenty of other RB's on the roster anyhow to fill in if he goes down.

new dilemma. keeper league, must submit keeper selections by tomorrow. qb friendly league, start 1, all tds are 6 points, and no points lost for INTs. to keep a guy you pay a draft pick 2 rounds than last year. my choices, up to three

mendenhall- 4th round cost
djax- 12th round cost
pierre thomas- 10th round cost
jerome harrison- 14th round cost
justin forsett- 14th round cost

was set to go mendenhall, djax, and thomas butttt.... hardesty is out for the season with a torn acl, leaving harrison as the starter with hillis/davis possibly playing the goaline thief. I've not been convinced that djax with new qb and being a speed demon (santana moss type) is going to live up to his 3rd round standing. am i crazy to not keep djax and go with harrison?

we also draft nfl style (no snake) based on performance of last year. i came in second so pick 11 out of 12 every round.

probably go 1.11 elite qb either way but if i keep harrison i'd be hitting wr's in rounds 2 and 3 at least and then whomever shows up on the board.

well if you didn't have 2 better RBs I'd consider harrison over jackson, but since you have mendenhall and pierre to keep, I'd definitely stick with desean

Matt Leinart released by Cardinals. Kind of late for him to find a team now. I call Tom Brady signing in Arizona next year btw.

NFL.com shows only 2.3% of all fantasy teams actually own him right now. But then, most people expected this and that is only -.2 from last week.

Looks like TJ Whoseyerdaddy got cut by the Seahawks due to salary. Could actually increase his value.

So what should I do with vincent jackson? its a 10 team ppr league. there aren't many options in free agency. guys like seattle mike williams is probably the best available, cotchery, hester. its also a 2 QB league. I have rodgers and cutler starting. big ben on my bench. I'm thinking I need to either keep vjax, or cut him for a qb possibly, as trade bait. derek anderson is out there, jason campbell, josh freeman. there are 3 teams without a backup QB, and some other teams with shitty backups, it might work out.

what would you do?

lol, it was an offline draft, so not everyone got picked... its an 8 team league. i had been watching greene for a while, and figured i would pick him up...

there are a LOT of players available... im not sure what to do with housh, maybe get rid of him, but he might be very good on the baltimore team... i dont know

i actually dropped matt forte to pick up s. smith... not sure if that was a good move or not...

i'd pick up mike williams in sea. #1 wr on a crappy team is still a #1 wr. vjax we dont know if anything is actually going to happen. i wouldnt worry about those qb's. they're all about the same in my opinion and if i needed a qb, i'd pick someone up over trading for one of them.

post your team and the list of players available. right now you should drop housh. like right now, hes worthless especially in an 8 teamer. forte is definitely worth it, but lets see who else you have and who is out there

nice of the league to let (assuming) mendenhall drop down to the second round but either way brees/mendenhall in the top two are pretty good. especially with colston in the third. i'm not sold on portis, but as a flex/4th he's in a good spot. i think you've got a pretty good squad.

keeper squad drafted tonight. 6pts for all td's and no penalty on int's. nfl style draft as well, no snake, where you draft from is always where you draft from. second place last year got me the wonderfull 11th draft position.

1. Ryan Grant
2. Marques Colston
3. Matt Forte
4. Rashard Mendenhall (keeper)
5. Jay Cutler
6. Ahmad Bradshaw
7. Braylon Edwards
8. Bernard Berrian
9. Chad Henne
10. Pierre Thomas (keeper)
11. Chris Cooley
12. Desean Jackson (keeper)
13. Mason Crosby
14. New York Giants
15. Greg Olsen

i had to go for the last 4 rounds so will be dropping greg olsen for a what is hopefully the week 1 wr that blows up and runs hot the rest of the season with the #2 waiver spot. I'm really counting on cutler to have a good year, INT's are not penalized so i figured i could get him a good spot. 6th round, all that was left was cutler/palmer. so we'll see. if i catch gold in a WR and cutler pans out, i think i've got a playoff contending squad on my hands. any thoughts from the peanut gallery? :)

12 team PPR league - 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 Flex. Td's are 6 except for throwing QB td's which are worth 4

Rawfulburger is going to get dumped. He's going to be another Matt Leinart. I'm saying it now.

I ended up with Kevin Boss in a 12-team, PPR, TE + TE/WR/RB flex league.

John Carlson is available. Should I dump Boss for Carlson?

The Giants offense is more stable and is transitioning to more of a passing offense. He's also a frequent red zone target. I'd keep him over Carlson.

I liked Mason as a semi-sleeper, with the Hooooosh signing, think that puts them both as bad picks.

As a Ravens fan, I love the pick-up.

As a fantasy football player, it sucks. The Ravens may have a nice WR corps, but their fantasy value is pretty low b/c who knows where the touchdowns are gonna come from?

How are you guys feeling about Cadillac Williams this year? I know it's the Bucs, but all the local bloggers seem to be pretty sold as Cadillac as the centerpiece of the Bucs Offense... How do you feel about him vs Justin Forsett?
