23 assists to 3 turnovers right now for the Hornets. If they don't win today they will get swept.
All this and without David West.
Hornets won't win the series, we all know this but no one thought they'd even with one game. If Paul keeps up this high level play they can certainly draw out the series and weaken the Lakers for the next round.
I don't give them much of a chance either, but that said, I think the West is wide open.
SA was the only top tier team to go the season without injuries, odd given their age. Now the injury bug seems to have bitten them at the very worst time.
The Lakers looked shaky all year, some mixture of wear and tear and apathy it would seem.
Dallas can make a finals run, they had a 17-1 streak and an 18-1 streak this year. Their secondary scoring option is Terry though and they are as creaky and old as any team out there. I don't trust them.
OKC seems to be the real shining jewel out West, that Perkins trade really put them over the top. They are built to beat the Lakers now, but they may just get a different team in the conference finals.
Barkley just said that Memphis is going to win the series against SA. I don't believe they will because Manu is going to come back but since they split the season series I see it going at minimum 6 games.
Carmelo 2 PFs in the first 1:28, dumbass.
Miami defense is really clamping down today.
During the regular season Miami would jump out to 15+ point leads then coast and let the other team back into the game. This happened in more than half of their losses. Now that its the playoffs, do they step on the 76ers' throats and finish the game?
That will be what I'm looking for.
Everyone seemed to predict the two games tonight would be blow-outs.
