That time of the year is upon is, the playoffs will start on Saturday, May 16, 2011.

Are you ready? I sure am - below are the brackets. I think the best match-up of the first round is the Thunder & Nuggets series.

I'm a west coast guy but with how great a season they've had I hope they at least go to the East Finals. I don't think they'll win a championship this year because experience factors in a lot in the playoffs but I'm really hoping they at least get to the East Finals.
 
I'm stoked the Blazers are playing Dallas instead of OKC. If we can get by Dallas, we'll likely face the Lakers who, for whatever reason, we've had good success against in recent years.

I honestly think it's about as open as it's ever been this year. I love the NBA playoffs and will be watching as much as I can. =]

Barely beat the Spurs 5th rate squad and almost lost to the Kings. Great momentum going into the playoffs. Still though no matter what they're the favorites because since Bynum and Odom will be lackluster again, Kobe is going to have to win games because no one else is trying.

My beloved suns shit the bed this year. Nice to see Manu go down in the last game of the season tho. Hate that guy.

I really want to see Boston and Miami lose. I will be cheering against them during the entirety of the playoffs.

Oden has played the equivalent of 1 season's worth of game in 4 seasons since been drafted.

Bynum is easily injured sure but calling him Greg Oden is ridiculous.

As a Blazers fan, I can tell you I'd MUCH rather have Bynum. Oden hasn't even played a whole season yet. Total. In 4 years. Bynum has at least been able to contribute some.

Oden is getting paid to sit around and play PS3 or whatever it is that he does.
 
I'm hoping for a Bulls vs Thunder finals. Young and energetic fresh blood playing for a championship finally.

Glad Nash will never win a championship. Also, I hope you injure yourself too, cause I hate you. Though I don't even know you or anything. ()🙂

Spurs should have tanked it to #2, as facing the Nuggets or Thunder in round 2 would blow for any team in the WC.

They finished off the season with wins against the Lakers, San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder and TWICE against Dallas.
