Is there some kind of upcoming good news? Sounds like if any kind of approval is coming for their cancer drug, it'll be a long & slow process since they can't win on "it's more effective than the competition" but they may have a shot at "it has less side effects than others."

You sure like to speculate, lol. I'm sitting on the sidelines for the next few. ETFC is one of my few long positions.
That's one that I wanted to buy right after the big drop but Scottrade wouldn't let me and I was too lazy to call them up about it.
Yeah PARD's big drug failed its Phase 3 primary goals. Like I said, they failed to indicate 'beyond a reasonable doubt' that their drug is better than current best treatment in terms of overall survival rate. They whined a bit there claimiing that the placebo patients were often treated "better" than their test patients but that sounds like bs. What could be more promising is the fact that PARD's drug did seem to have fewer & less impactful side effects than the competition. PARD's drug may then be better in the long run b/c patients can stay on chemo longer? dunno. Fewer side effects alone may warrant FDA approval but it's not as clear of a shot.
When I saw PARD drop yesterday I too wondered if it'd be a good time to get in... but for now I think it's too risky since they're also running very low on $.

LOL, I see we have a dead cat bounce investor among us. I am more or less 'get in before the good/bad news' type. Did you buy any NGSX, VVUS? You might do another dead cat bounce tomorrow with VVUS if they announce bad news tomorrow morning.

PWRM has the same potential and the outlook is so much better than VRMLQ.

Not sure. It's all speculation to me until a deal actually happens. In any case it looks like ETFC is finally turning around. If it makes another big jump up I'll probably sell half my position for a tidy profit and hold the other half - or sell all and hope to re-enter later, depending on the action. Glad I bought some shares in the 1.4x range
I picked up some PWRM near close just for the lulz, though I am hesitant to hold onto a penny stock for longer than a day. Assuming my limit order fills tomorrow I'll be able to hold about 1,000 shares as a "freebie". Best of both worlds that way.
I should probably finish my options app with my broker so I can hedge my bets, but equities have been treating me well lately so I haven't bothered.

yea, i didnt put up my life savings on this or any other penny stocks. it would be nice to make some money off a $100 investment. I'll check back in w/ you in a few weeks or earlier if we hear news.

Could be as early as Monday. I can afford to be optimistic, I suppose. Meanwhile I picked up more shares of ETFC and will dump 2/3 on the next spike.

Were these guys recently funded? How are they continuing ops? They had like $38k in cash at end of Sep? Did they raise money in interim? How are they continuing operations?
