That was the first shutout that I can remember in a long long time.

They win Sunday, lose the game I go to (Monday) and then shutout on Tuesday.

Clearly I am bad luck for the team, so I guess I'll just root for them at home from now on.

Well there are plenty of other guys who together can fill in. Now it's just a matter of if they will. So far, so good without Carlos. Obviously, the team is a lot scarier with him though.

I went to the 15 inning game tonight, what a blast. I get to wake up in 10 hours and go again!

Well, they are beating my old hometown Blue Jays (who'll always have a special place in my heart). But after three losses I'm glad to see the Sox winning again.


As for the Jays, they are surging as of late, but I'd be perfectly content to have them finish above .500


In other news, across the state the Cubs are finally winning a game, at the Cards.

Twins already lost today, lets see if the Sox can make it a 2 game lead. I'm going to the game tomorrow (if it doesn't rain out) and have tickets for the 26th. Just might have to get tickets to the last game on the 28th too.

The first game was empty today but Vazquez looked great. Not a ton of fans there still, but could be a great opportunity to end up 1.5 ahead of the twinkies.

Well this is a fucking horrible game now. 7-0 after 6 and now its tied going into the bottom of the 8th.

I'm glad we at least won, but I wish Ozzie hadn't pulled the starter. I can understand wanting to rest him for the Yanks, but Dotel ain't cuttin' it.
