everything i have heard has been rumor so far

since it is being officially unveiled now

i have heard everything from 2007 to Janurary 2005

what do you mean by next year september 05 Dec 05 Janurary 05?

mazda has not ever even officially confirmed or denied this car will make production yet in North America but we are supposed to hear at the paris auto show and since it is a turbochared AWD sedan it has to be the mazdaspeed 6

looks nice, not too different from the current 6 from a stylistic point of view. it looks like it'll perform awesome though. i hope that this thing is expensive as all hell so i don't feel so envious when it comes out. 😛

supposedly priced right under 30 K

and if that is correct i'm getting one 🙂

According to that triplezoom site, the MZS6 can do 0-100kmh (62mph) in 6.6s. The Legacy GT can do that in 5.6s (R&T) or 5.7s (C&D).

And just which company has more experience building turbos and AWD systems?

remember in europe the subare legacy only makes 245 PS w/ the most powerful engine

which falls short of the GT model

i have a feeling it will be beefed up for the US market

Ah, you're not in the US! Yes, the Legacy GT in the US is a tuboed 2.5L engine, producing 250hp/250 torque. The GT here is slightly faster than the 3.0R sold everywhere else.

i am in the US i just am predicting they will probably release another model for the US

because the legacy is what it is probably meant to compete with

Subaru will introduct an STi version of the Legacy with 300-350hp coming from a turboed H6 engine with 6-speed MT, Brembo breaks, Bilstein shocks, etc. (Such is the rumor.)

looks like i was right

274 HP / 284 FT-lbs of torque for the US version 🙂

release in early summer

works out nicely for me since i should have 20G's saved up by then 😀

$20K??? More like $30K! The standard 6 with V6 and MT goes for around $25K. The MS version will be more expensive!

i know

i will have saved up 20K ie downpayment

i have been looking into this car for the past 2 months i should know the price 😉

and also if you read my post in this thread above

i said it should be right under 30K but this may not now
