I used to have a I/O Magic 52x CD-ROM drive.
It worked ok but the disk spun so fast it became rather loud.

I had an IO Magic cdrom. It was loud, and right after the year mark, it started giving me problems and died. I believe they make their own drives. Correct me if I'm wrong.

IOMagic is one of the worse when it comes to Rebate. I got all of mine but more than likely it involved a phone call to straighten it out.

i got this drive last week...i know its not a rebadge but i dont know who makes it (some random manufacturer)...

i got it for ~$47 before rebates....if the $20 and $30 rebates ever come that I'm mailing out, I will have gotten the drive for free after rebates (make like 30 cents after taxes)

drive works great btw

online? in-stores?

my buslink (dunno what it really is) is terribly loud. i had a lite-on that i sent in for an rma that apparently got "lost," even though tracking shows that it arrived
