OfficeMax guy came to pick up RMA'd PAPERCLIPS!

I tacked them on to a mouse order to get free shipping. Ended up returning the mouse. They sent me a UPS slip to send the mouse back. I've already been credited $1.16 to my cc for the paperclips.

Yet today I get a call to the front lobby for having a visitor. How suprised was I to see the OfficeMax guy with an RMA form in hand to collect the paperclips!

Cost of Paperclips: $1.09 (+tax)
Cost of Driving to pick it up plus time of driver (>$1.16....can't really emphasize that much more)

The experience of giving him the paperclips: Priceless!
 
How embarrasing for the guy. Imagine being in his position and forced to ask for a box of paperclips back! He probably scurried out of there quickly.

I had to RMA the entire order as to not pay shipping on the mouse. But yea...I'm still cracking up..I can't believe OfficeMax went through the trouble. It must be a result of my bad D3ll karma.
 
If I was the delievery boy, I would have saved myself some time and bought some paperclips with my own money instead. That leaves some time to go hang out and the coffee bar or whatever.

It got worse as I handed him the paperclips, was about to walk away, but then he called me back and told me I had to sign as proof that 1. he got them and 2. initial saying they're unopened.
