I'm all over that DVD+R for $30 after MIR + tax.

Why is there two SKU for 8X DVD+RW and 52X CDRW? Are there two different brands on sale?

Which would be a better deal?

100 DVD+R for $39.99 AR ( are they generic? )
25 Imation DVD+R $19.99 AR

Burning with a Pioneer A06.

0.40/DVD isn't bad but what are the chances for 1/2 of them being coasters?

What hassle? Heck, my local OM STILL has one 80GB hd left....too bad I already have two, one for my wife, one for my brother. This Sunday morning and a 120GB will be waiting for me......went in today and picked up one of the $4.99 optical MS mice (last one) and a Supra 56K modem for a neighbor. Never a hassle at this OM.

I might pick up one of these. How much does your order have to be to qualify for free shipping?

Cool, I have a 30 off 150 in-store. I was going to get the 80GB HD but wavered because I don't really need one... However, 120GB for $20 is too good to pass up :)

I've used both Imation CD-Rs and DVD-Rs, without a single coaster in my Lite-on CD and DVD burners.

Those Arita disks are Ritek (RICOHJPN-R00) discs which are good quality. The price is good, unfortunately I don't need any +R media right now. I stocked up on the Imations RICOHJPN-R01 at OD a few weeks back. I would like to find a similar deal on some top quality -R media now. I am completly out.

I'll probably opt for the 25 imation DVD+Rs for 19.95 because I get the feeeling that with in a month or two the dual layer stuff will start coming out and the single layer stuff will drop through the roof on pricing.

If that's true, the media won't appear until the hardware. Even with the 8x DVD+R media they came out way after the drives were out I suppose to flush the supply channels.
No doubt this will come at a premium for the DVD9 items. Now me, I'm always behind the curve on the high priced stuff. I just got my first dvd burner at $80 whereas people I know paid $300 some months ago. I don't mind burning 2.4x dvds still as I can handle the complexity of DVDShrink :D and get what I want.
