Office2000 Premium Install problems

I'm trying to install my copy of office 2000 prem. on to one of my computers but i'm having some problems. It gets only about 20 seconds into the "auto-run" and i get an error number "2711" and that there is an "internal error". I know the CD works, because I've already used it on two of my other computers. Any ideas on what the problem is, or how I can fix it? The CDROM drive is fine, and I've tried swapping it out just to be safe.
