I currently have Office Xp and was thinking on upgrading to Office 2003.

Is it even worth the upgrade? Pros and cons of XP and 2003 versions? Thanks.

Do you use Outlook? If so, the upgrade is well worth it. Otherwise, the few changes to the other apps are not worth it.

Like others have said its worth it if you use Outlook.

If not stick with XP.

Actually, if you use Excel a lot, the new List features are extremely useful.

Outlook 2003 works very good if you use it in a corporate environment. we access our email remotely, so the cached exchange feature comes in handy. The custom views that you can setup is another nice feature :)

Outlook 2k3 supports a much larger pst file, so that's a nice feature alone.
I've noticed that the applications load a lot faster than previous versions of Office, and this is critical on older and slower computers.

One thing that suprised me was Office 2k3 will not install on a Win98 machine. I believe Office XP will.

(No I do not use Win98, someone else does.)

What do you mean? Both command-and-control, as well as dictation, work fine for me in 2003 just as they did in XP.
