I recently upgraded to Office 2000, then installed (only) OutlookXP that came with a Pocket PC. I readily accepted all updates offered for Office 2000. However, MS updater wanted me to install around 9 additional updates for OfficeXP. I did accept several that seemed to relate specifically to Outlook XP.
However, am not at all sure it is a good idea to accept All updates offered for Office XP, because am afraid they might change some settings for my Office 2000 version. Actually, I believe one of the first updates, (the sp3 update for Office XP) may have slipped by me (auto updating caught me off guard.
Are my concerns justified? I'm currently dealing with a serious Stop Error issue, (BSOD type behavior) that, I will soon post as a seperate thread (at the tail end of my research on this), but this may not have been caused by the stuff above.
I did look at the list of updates in Windows Installer, but nothing stood out as this Office XP Sp3, that I was most concerned about.
