Office XP Small Business EULA problem

John

Moderator Emeritus<br>Elite Member
I have a system I am working on, and anytime I open MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc I get the EULA popup window everytime. If I click accept I can continue, but when I close and reopen the EULA will come back. The software is registered already.

SP2 has been applied.
Normal.dot has been renamed

Anyone seen this issue before and know a fix?

I hope someone posts a fix for you.

I have a copy of the same software; I will eventuallly install the software on my roommate's pc which is running XP Home Edition.

reinstall service pack2. (the best thing is to slipstream service pack into office xp)

I mentioned in the original post that I had tried that, but thanks for the input.

forgive me but where in your original post does it say that?

SP2 has been applied.

i dont know, but this dosent mean same thing as reinstall sp2 😉
You installed Officexp first, later you installed the sp2 right?..my point is that slipstreaming sp2 into officexp will solve your problem (or a reinstall of sp2) beacuse your problem is most likely related to the sp2 install that you made.

Please forgive my vague response. The issue was happening before SP2 was applied, and is still happening after SP2 has been applied.

oh i see, well in that case i would one of two things.......

1 either reinstall office xp (and then apply sp2) or 2. slipstream office xp with sp2 (burn a new cd) and then install from your cd "officexpsp2" (this is the best option)
