Office XP, Error 1311

Anytime I try to install Office XP on my Windows 2000 machine just as it starts to install the files I get the message
"Error 1311 can not find or access e:\office1.cab", Which is there and I can access it just fine, but it will not let me install, please anybody help me

Download & install all Windows Update, then try to reinstall Office XP.
