office XP coming soon

Heh, MS is hoping to increase their revenues by releasing Office XP earlier, yeah right. Read it here.

I dont get it how they expect both businesses and home users to upgrade so frequently, since it hasnt been too long since Office 2k has been out.

Rush jobs in software development always lead to bugs and problems. Usually I wait for the first SP for MS products. For Office XP, if I even decide to upgrade from Office 97, I think I'll wait until the third or fourth patch.

Will Office XP work on Windows ME or is it Win2000/XP only. I know it sounds stupid for MS to ship it if it only worked on the new OS but the name is confusing...
