This one's got me stumped. I've got a WinXP computer here, with OfficeXP. The clip art search tool cannot see the Web Collections at all. Whether from inside one of the apps, or from the Clip Organizer - it just appears empty.
Things I've done so far:
Repaired Office
Reinstalled Office (from Add/Remove, hit Change, from inside there did a Reinstall)
Removed Office and then reinstalled it
Removed Office, backed up and then deleted the leftover registry keys (HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office and HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office), then reinstalled it.
After each of these attempts, I tried to get to the Web Collections and it failed. Updated Office to sp1 and tried - failed. Updated to sp2 and tried - failed. Got the 3 post-sp2 patches and tried - failed.
Other things I can think of: This used to have Win2k and Office 2k on it. It was upgraded last July or so. What the guy who was doing the upgrades did to it, exactly, I don't know, and he doesn't work here anymore, so...
Every other system that went through the (supposedly) same process works just fine.
Using the same Admin install on freshly built systems results in systems that work just fine.
Before I just rebuild the whole steenkin thing, anyone have any ideas?
