So I have a proprietary font family from work - let's call it "Garmond" - and I need to get it working and loading properly on my Windows 10 PC with Office 2016.
I successfully installed "Garmond Light" and see it in the control panel, but when I go to Word, it lists this as "Garmond." What this means is when I open a doc with Garmond Light as the main font (as created by my colleague on a Mac), my PC doesn't register it as being a matching font and it still displays it in the default font (Arial).
I can change the font myself to Garmond as I see it, but I shouldn't have to (not to mention that'd mess up my colleague who is collaborating with me on a Mac machine). The font is Garmond Light, I installed it, but the font option in the drop down on Word says Garmond.
Does anyone know why this could be?
