how much do they charge for shipping?

*We will not contact you unless we have a problem processing your order or we need to notify you of shipping delays. Most orders received and entered by 6 p.m. your time will ship the same day, freight pre-paid. However, applicable shipping charges will be added to your order if the subtotal is $45 or less; or if the item states that shipping is additional; or if the destination is outside the contiguous United States. For subtotals under $20.00, a small order processing charge of $2.50 will be added.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
State sales tax will be added, if applicable.

Not every items on your list is a penny.
I added them to my cart and it shows 12 cents for some items.

Anyone knows how much is shipping, in addition to the $2.50 processing charge? I don't want to pay $10 shipping/handling for a bunch of cheap stationary...

You could get a bunch of the stuff, and then give it to a school or something, use it as a tax write off??

The $0.12 stuff are probably like a dozen of pens for a penny each or something like that.

I placed an order, but have received no e-mail confirmation.

I imagine that their computers spit out everything where there's more than one of the dirt-cheap items, even if it stupidly lets one order as many of them as one likes.

And if that's indeed their policy, that's more than fair enough. Just too bad the computer doesn't make it clear up-front, instead of wasting peoples' time.

(But who knows -- maybe an e-mail will come later today.)

Just got a call from Quill -- 1 EACH for the special items.

As always, they were very kind about it, and even gave me the free shipping I would have gotten had I actually gotten a bazillion of each -- generous of them.

I just hope their computers get up to speed so they can enforce the obvious right up front and save everybody's time in the process.

well I got my order through early last night. Got about 50 of each thing but staples, total came to 25.20. Shipping was 14.00. Since according to the below posts, they are aware of the problem, I called to cancel my order. They said it already shipped. Oh well. Guess I just got a whole bunch of office supplies pretty cheap

I got my whole order today, including multiples(30) of the $.01 things. The email confirmation and the web site shows they charged correctly.
