Nice find. I just reached the bottom of my AA free batteries from Staples from several years ago. Unfortunately no Office Depot anywhere nearby. I may have to break down and actually buy batteries again.

Good deal, but one word of warning about their rebate setup - it is messed up, especially if you had prior OfficeDepot/OfficeMax accounts - I have a situation where store purchases go on an account that I cannot access online anymore (different account id's), and now I have to hope they can merge them somehow, or transfer the purchase to the account I can access. Either way, if you have this issue, you have to call them M-F, stores will not be able to resolve stuff like that.

I don't have an account.......is it a real hassle to get the rebate or they actually efficient and prompt?

(basically want to know if it's worth my time going into Office Depot and going through this??)
