Office 2007 repair

Instead of removing the software and installing it I did the repair option. I'm about 4 hours in the repair process, how long does it take, or should I cancel it.

That seems like a long time to me. What is wrong with it? Why are you repairing it?

Probably shouldn't take more than 30 mins so i'd cancel and perhaps reinstall instead?

yeah, half an hour on a slow pc is probably long enough.

I'd agree with Chiefcrowe, and add that manually running chkdsk on the volume where office is installed, prior to doing a repair, usually eliminates this kind of problem.
