On my computer at work I am having the strangest problem. A few weeks ago I switched to dual monitors and after installing the drivers and getting everything setup, all of my apps worked fine excet for Microsoft Office 2003 Pro. All of the newer icons and shadows and stuff were replaced with versions looking like they came straight for Office 97. I tried uninstalling, repairing, updating video card drivers, everything I could think of and nothing worked. Finally yesterday our licenses for Office 2007 were approved and I got it installed onmy system. Everything worked great and I was in the heaven that is the Office 2007 revamped UI. Today, my secondary video card started having some problems so I replaced it with a new card from nVidia (MX4000 to FX5200) and the same problem that happened with Office 2003 happened with Office 2007. Everything went grey and very basic, the Office button looks 8-bit and pixelated!

Here are my specs:

Dell Optiplex 745
Intel Pentium D 3.4GHz
2GB DDR2-667
80GB Hard Drive
ATi Radeon X1300 (Primary Video Card) - PCIe
eVGA nvidia Geforce FX5200 (Secondary Video Card) - PCI

Please help! This is driving me crazy!

I've had this issue before, 3 times now as of last month. I was able to resolve the problem though by reinstalling Office. The first time all I needed to do was a repair install. The last 2 times I had to do a complete uninstall/reinstall.

If that didn't work for you, after the uninstall be sure to check in your profile for any other MS Office folders and deleting them as well as some settings may be held back there.

I have uninstalled annd reinstalled several times, deleting registry entries and any/all office system folders I can find and I still get the same issue. I spent at least two hours on this yesterday and I've found no solution thus far.
