Office 2002 Compatible with Office 2003?

A friend has Office 2002 installed but don't know where the CDs are and the OS needs to be reinstalled bad hard drive, and I have Office XP Pro and Office 2003.

Will the docs from Office 2002 be compatible with office 2003?
