Office 2000 Premium closes 2 sec. after it opens, Please Help!

I've had Office 2000 installed for a while now with no problems. I downloaded and installed the SR-1 update and now it opens (any of the apps) and then closes after about 2 or 3 seconds. Any ideas or should I just try to uninstall? I'm running Widows 98.

Is this an Academic Version of Office?

If it is then you did not register it during your limited usage period. Time for a uninstall...

As indicated here, you're going to have to go download an ISO of the licensed version, man =\

You need to install MSI 1.1 before you install the SR1 update. For some reason, the new MSI is installed when you install SR1 in Win2K, but doesn't always get installed under Win98.

Uninstall the whole lot. Then install Office 2K, then the MSI Installer version 1.1, and then the SR1.
