Office 2000 install error in Win2k

I have been trying to install Office 2000 in Win2k after my first win2k install bit the big one. I restored from a Ghost backup and have not been able to get it installed. I am about to start clean, but do not want to. I am getting an "Internal Error 2755" error. This is a copy/paste from the log file:

Internal Error 2755: Please contact product support for assistance.
MSI (c) (48:60): Product: Microsoft Office 2000 Premium -- Internal Error 2755: Please contact product support for assistance.

Action ended 22:29:06: ExecuteAction. Return value 3.
Action start 22:29:06: FatalError.
Action 22:29:06: FatalError. Dialog created

Can someone help me before I reinstall Win2k from scratch(dont want to)

Thanks Iam David, been there, still makes no sense, cause none of those situations apply to me ( I believe ). I lost my OS in March, I had to resort to a install I had ghosted in December, the OS I lost had office installed and working fine, this ghosted OS won't install the Office suite. Please help.....
