Offical Nvidia 30.82 drivers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, I saw this one at least 😉. (although I probably would have seen the other one eventually 😛)
 
With my Geforce2 Ultra, in Counter-Strike in the resolution 1280x960, the screen is really messed up with these drivers.
 
They work fine for with with my gainward Gf4 ti2400.
They did lower my 3dmark by 750 points though.

Anyway, I have them working with my Gainward Ti4200. Works great in all my games including CS which I played for about five hours last night. :Q

I did lose some fps in q3, and 3dmark went down about 20 points. Other then that everything else is working great.

I'm still trying to figure out why vertex shader is so poor on my card? My GF3 Ti500 post some better numbers, and vertex shader was much higher.

I'm still using my 28.xx versions, and running great.
 
could somebody with a geforce3 test to see if there tv-out works because for some odd reson after i install these drivers my tvout stop working.i kinda wanna keep these drivers because the image is way better then the 29.42

[sarcasm] Not possible! nVidia driver releases do only one thing, add speed! There's never, EVER any quality issues with drivers from nVidia. Ever.

Working fine for me on my GF2 Ti and XP Pro,remember to do what Nvidia recommend which`s don`t use any download acceleration manager programs like DAP and disable anti-virus before install of the drivers to prevent any possible corrupted install.

Installing Nvidia drivers is one thing that`s a "piece of cake",if you`re worried by them then just try ATi drivers 😉.Remember with newer drivers you don`t always get extra speed,other things like stability improvement(if any) and image quality is what I look at.

and why is there never any update log...u have to wonder what exactly each new driver set brings...

I've been running the leaked beta version of these drivers for a few weeks and they've been working very well for me.
 
I cant install these... First time I tried, it said it couldnt delete "nvdmcpl.dll" and "nvdesk32.dll" so I deleted them myself from C:\Windows\system. Then it installed fine, but when I start up Windows, I get this error message and Ut2k3 says I still have outdated drivers.

I'm using Win98SE on an A7V333, XP2000 and a GF2.

Sure . . . have you finished playing 3DMark2001 yet. 😛

And any idea when the det 40s will make "certified"? (in otherwords, how long does it take to go from Beta to Official? - probably hard to tell since Nvidia has never released beta drivers before).

 
just get the det 40.00 i think they are beta, but they are amazinly fast!

Having tested the 40.41 drivers for a few weeks now,I`ve gone back to 30.82 drivers,the main reason being the image quality is better with the 30.82 drivers even at desktop,I never had any real problems with 40.41 drivers but image quality just wasn`t good enough for me.
