The Lakers can offer Kobe a 7 year deal because that's a league rule. Other teams can only offer Kobe 6 years max.

I'm a Lakers fan I'm hoping otherwise. As great as Kobe is the West is all about size which the Lakers have none of.
 
he should have gone to the clippers..if the lakers have a very bad season he will be forever known as the whiny basketball diva that broke the lakers up

besides then everyone will say that shaq carried the team not kobe

personally if i was shaq id get into the best shape i could and stmp all over the lakers and nba

this is precisely why i am glad he stayed. its almost gonna be as sweet as them getting nearly sweeped by detriot
 
ture that 😉 I think shaq is working his ass off now, and he's out for blood. I might actually pay attention to more reg.season games now 😉
