I haven't received mine yet - I'm leaving town tomorrow and will be back on the 28th..maybe it will be here by then :)

after seeing what some people got, i feel bad that i couldn't get my guy more :(

I know the feeling...I really need to plan ahead better next year. :/

TOTALLY feel the same way.
It was my first year though. That's my excuse. I had NO idea.

Don't feel bad guys. There is a minimum of $20 to spend, some can afford more and some cannot. This is just a fun gift exchange, just do what you can and everyone will be pleased. The worst thing you can do is sign up and not send anything....I believe there is a list complied of such individuals.

Merry Christmas all!

Sorry I'm late! I actually got REALLY SICK for a while and didn't really have any energy to come on here and post a pic. LOL! Anyhow... I wanted to take pics of my present in use, but that'll just have to happen later ;)

here it is:

YOU NAILED IT, SANTA! Thanks alfa147x :)

So basically, I've got an assortment of Indian curries and spices and a sweet movie! I can definitely enjoy these with the girlfriend, which is exactly what I wanted. It turns out that we both LOVE Indian food, too. I have no idea how you figured that one out, but good job ;)

Thanks a lot!

Well, after a week of taunting me below the tree I finally got to open my Secret Santa gifts.

My Secret Santa (MartyMcFly3) is the man!

Secret_Santa_Loot.jpg

Every one of the gifts is awesome. I've wanted a Bonsai Tree for a while and didn't expect to get one. Endeavor is probably going to be the next board game I play after I finish the one that is currently set up. I have liked Sanderson books and have been looking forward to checking out his new series. And I can always use Tally Ho's (best quality cards IMO) for my card tricks.

There must be $100 in loot there (the board game itself is $50). Thanks a lot!

Opened mine today, I got a Dilbert book (very recent one too), the House soundtrack (awesome), and a book on "philosophy" based on the House character; basically how to be a righteous dick and always be right :D...I'm going to read it at work and see if it helps me get a promotion, or get fired.

Thanks SS!

I held out til Christmas (I didn't cheat Santa!) :)

My SS sent me the book "The Shallows: What the Internet is doing to our brains" and also a big graph poster of the electromagnet radiation spectrum (don't worry SS, I'm not using a CRT,) so I have the feeling he's trying to scare me off of the internet. :D

Seriously though the poster is a great high-quality print on high-quality material and a great visual representation of EMR and a perfect den/garage/evil-hideout wall-hanger. The book I'm going to start read tonight! Thanks SS!!

Received the following:

NY Giants Road to XLII DVD
Fruit/Vegetable Slicer/Chopper

Great Job SS. The slicer/chopper has been well received by all of us. My two year loves fresh cut fruit and this makes it so much easier.

After tonight's embarrassment I am going to watch the NFC Championship game.

Thanks YOyoYOhowsDAjello I got my gift when I got back from skiing. The shot glass is awesome and the golf balls already came in handy. I used a sleeve today when I went out with my dad.

Thanks, Secret Santa!

I do presentations in front of school district folks from time to time and didn't have a laser pointer at all for myself. There was a really weak red one that we used from time to time, but it's almost worthless in a large room.

This one works great!

Thanks SS!

As you can see I'm already using the water bottle. I've wanted to get a nice big bottle for work, but I haven't gotten around to it so thanks for taking care of that for me! The cookbook I already used one night as a basis for dinner. Was delicious. Salmon with pasta on top, along with veggies, herbs/spices, some nuts, and a few other things. Threw it in the oven for 20 min or so, and came out delicious.

Thanks again!
