Too bad Da Hawks lost, WTF are they paying that new goalie (Khabiboulin I think) for if he lets 5 goals a game get past him?

Tough loss for the Sawx. But they'll still win this thing, they did it vs the A's a couple years ago and we all know about last year. This team bends to the max but they're hard to break. 😉

He'll have games like that in the regular season, but he'll play much better in most games. The key is to make the playoffs and then he'll really shine.

Just think on the bright side Red Sux fans. One year of abject futility down, only 85 more years of misery to go before your next World Series title.

...boy...the Sox sweep of the Sawx was quite convincing. The Sawx couldn't hit a lick and their pitching the first 2 games was not so good. The Red Sox just look dead the whole series.

That was a nice squeeze play in the 9th inning for that insurance run.

As a Red Sox fan, I gotta say the better team won. Oh well, there's always 2006. 🙂

i have to agree. game 1 was lost on pitching, game 2 was lost on defense. Game 3 was lost on lack of clutch hitting. well, there is always next year.

yea im not to upset about this, i figured that theWS were gonna win the series, but i didnt see the sweet happening, the ROX pitching has been shakey the 2nd ha;f, they just didnt have it like thet did last year, and the WS were on fire

i see it being St Louis v WS in the series

and how about that? renteria made the last out which makes red sox the champion, and he also made the last out which ends the reign of the defending champion 😛

Wow, go White Sox.

My sister and Uncle have tickets to all the home white sox games. Lucky bastards.
I've got tickets for Game 2 of the ALCS. 😀 It's gonna be a blast.

Eh I don't really care all that much about the BoSox losing. Now the media will focus their attention on the Patriots.

Seriously, it was lack of pitching that cost Boston this year, first it cost them the AL East
& now it cost them this seris ... I don't know if they would have done any better against LA or NY for the same reason... Timlin was terrible 10 years ago & Wakefield is a decent #3
starter, but def not a #1.
Having said that, last years beating of the Yankee's was one of the best moments I've ever
seen in pro sports... too bad all I have left now is rooting for the Angels to stomp those damn Yankees!
