When Dak scored that last TD with over a minute left, should he have just gone down at 1 yard line? I know there is no guarantee they would have scored though but which had a higher probability of victory for Dallas - doing that or doing what he did (and we all knew how that was going to turn out - the Dallas defense was pretty porous most of the game)?

I think the bigger mistake for the Cowboys is on the prior play before Dak's TD run. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it was 2nd and 2yds to go for the 1st down and Cowboys still had 1 timeout left. They went for the pass to the endzone resulting in a drop which hardly killed the clock any. Had they attempted a run or two just for the 1st down instead, before passing into the endzone, that would have been the better option.

yup...that is was another fvck up as well...there were actually two passing plays they called that were incomplete...if either of those were runs, there would have been a whole lot less time...

Are you inferring that the Browns were ever good at any point in the last....20 years? especially because of one person?

hey, we made the playoffs 10 years ago with derek anderson at QB! only to get eliminated in the first round, but still.

for the browns, mediocrity is the best outcome we can ever hope for.

At least that's more recently than the Bills. If we fail again this year, then there will be people who can vote in next year's elections that weren't alive the last time we were in the playoffs
