OFFICAL 2004-2005 NBA THREAD

SO that the season is over, Lets just talk about what is going on in the off season, I think Okafor was a better #1 because of the experience.

I'm waiting on spree right now, hoping he will either get a contract extension (which he wants) or atleast opts for the next year. Candy-- he needs to get better or go. Hudson looks like he will stay (he wants to and I believe is the wolves top priority right now). If everybody stays healthy should look like another good season for the wolves. Haven't heard much on trades or players moving, so that is what I am going off of right now.

Too early to discuss the upcoming season, there looks to be a whole lot of star movement from now (the first day teams can meet with free agents, July 1) and the start of the season.
As of right now, the Pistons do look to repeat because everyone is almost the same, except the tragic..err. magic and the rockets.

But as of now, The Pistons are the WORLD champions. Eat it Laker fans.

Portland will probobly sign Q Richardson so they can reunite him and Darius Miles. The Blazers are looking to go young. They already have Zach Randolph, Theo Ratliff, Darius Miles and either Sebastian Telfair or Damon Stoudamire at point. Put a player like Quinten Richardson on that team ohhh weeee thats going to be exciting basketball.

In a couple seasons? Man there going to be good next year. They better be good quick because Yao is a unrestricted free agent in 2 years. If there not championship contenders by then you'll have Golden State, New York and the Lakers with huge Chinese populations calling.

well, it'll take time for them to meld, and also, if they pick up really good additions next yr or the next next..they can be super strong.

I have no doubt in my mind they'll be strong next yr.

Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski appears to be the Lakers next coach.

Steve Nash is leaving the Mavs, after Cuban declines to match a 5 year $65million contract with a six year option from the Phoenix Suns. Meaning the Suns are no longer courting Kobe, even though they were the first bidders for him.
