Offered accepted on a house

So after months and months of searching and getting out bid several times I finally have a seller who accepted my offer. Got full approval from my lender and now awaiting escrow to open along with appraisal and inspection. It's a fairly new house so the inspection should go fine. I'm excited but deep down I'm still a bit upset that I didn't get the first house I really wanted due to family disagreements. Hopefully I can close before the first time buyer tax credit deadline.

You only need to be under contract to get the tax credit. Close before 6/30 and you'll be good.

Congrats, by the way. I ended up having to cancel my plans for moving this year due to some unexpected financial issues...
