What do you think is a fair price to charge for a LAN Party if you do not have to bring your pc to the event? We are considering holding an event at a LAN gamz and we are trying to figure out what is a fair price to charge. Keep in mind course drinks will be provide free of charge and a lot of good prizes will be given away.

The poll is up on the site now. Vote away please 🙂.

$20 is a nice even number. I've never been to a LAN party either... but I would probably pay $20 to go to one with some friends.

I voted - and you can all drool because I was #69! 😛

My vote was for $30 but I thought about picking "More". If there were no prizes and PC's weren't provided I would've said lower would be okay but with equipment provided and prizes available $30 or more is fair. Good luck! 🙂

$25 * 40 maximum guests is only $1000, I suggest you find the cheapest food possible. Most LAN parties make much of the prize money from food sales.
I hope it goes well.

I voted $20 - it's a convenient denomination. 😉

I've been to several LAN parties, and hosted a few myself - in each case though people had to bring their PCs. When I hosted, I had spare monitors available for close friends so they wouldn't have to lug theirs along. 😀
